Pirate, the UK’s leading music studio provider, has revealed the cities with the highest density of bands, DJs and producers.
- Bristol has been named the UK city with the highest concentration of music artists.
- Edinburgh is the only UK city where live artists outnumber DJs.
- Pirate is a global studio used by over 350,000 live artists and DJs in the UK and Ireland.
Analysing the distribution of artists across the UK underscores the importance of supportive environments for nurturing talent outside of traditional music centres. That’s what Pirate is for.
